This was the first summer vacation I've had in a long time. Usually I have to work but because of budget cuts.....I really liked it though as time went by. I did some yard work but then it got to hot and I had nice friends like Nancy and Barbara let me enjoy their pools. My nephew came and stayed a couple of days with his children and wife. It was nice to see him all grown up and with kids,I don't see them very often as you can tell. Then several friends came and stayed a few days with Nancy and we got to talk about all times. My daddy wasn't doing well at the first of the summer so Aaron, Bobbi, and Keegan went down and spent a couple of days with them. He seems so much better now and I saw him again in June at a reunion. He is 91 and every chance I get to see him is precious to me. Aaron got a new house and they are really excited about that. It's out near Tommy Smith and Merritt Brown schools. We used to ride horses all during the woods, that was all that was there, now it's all houses.Aaron and Bobbi are finding out how it is to take care of a house and yard. Now I've been in school almost two weeks getting ready for our wonderful sweet children (ahhhh)!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope and pray everybody will have a wonderful year and God Bless each one.

Royal Weddings Weekend
This has been a really nice weekend. I took Friday off to watch the Royal Wedding at 3:00!!! My friend Barbara and Kendra and I were all on the phone together giving our opinion on the differnt hats mostly. They were really different. The bride looked lovely and the groom so handsome. He really looks like his mother to me. It looked like everything went just as planned and that was a lot of planning. Then on Saturday I went to my best friends son's wedding. It was so pretty. She had purple and white and it looked so pretty. David seemed his happy self and I'm so happy for him and his new wife. The reception was beautiful. It was at a friends lovely home and the decorations and food were wonderful. God's blessings on both the couples. I still don't know how to pictures, but just wait til I can. My grandson Keegan goes for his follow up check up next week, please pray for a good report. Thank you for all your prayers.

This is my picture of Keegan, he came over to my house and we played while Aaron ran errands. They are trying to buy a house and he has several things that they are going to need after living in a two bedroom apartment for so long. It's been a fun day, I met my friends that I haven't seen in so long at O'Charleys. We talked about old times and our kids and now grandkids. It was so good to see everybody.

School is in full swing!
I do mean school is in full swing, fighting is more and more and it's mostly the girls. Sent one to the emergency yesterday, it was an off campus fight, but one of the girls got real beat up. We are also getting ready for FCAT, that makes the natives restless too. Bless the te!achers hearts they try so hard to get these children to learn and some of them really want to.
I'm excited about tomorrow. Katie and MG are bringing the children over so we can babysit while they go to a shower for their friend Maggie. I haven't seen the kids in so long they probably will be a little shy and wonder who is this lady! Maybe we will have some cute pictures from this special day.
I played a good April Fools joke on my friend this morning. I told her one of the para's had ask me to go for coffee and I said yes. She couldn't believe it! She just said no you're not and I really had her going, then I told her April Fools. We laughed so hard cause she knows I'm not looking for anybody!!!!!!!!!!
Well better go and get rested up for tomorrow!

Devotional time
I read my devotions in the morning before I go to work and it makes my day a better day. This particular one stood out to me so I thought I would share it with you.
Father God, according to Your Word, without faith it is impossible to
please You, because anyone who comes to You must believe that You exist and that You reward those who earnestly seek You. (Heb.11:6).
Lord, I want to please You. Build faith in me so my life will honor the life of Your Son at all times, in every way.
Help me not be like the ancient Israelites who willfully put You to the test (Ps. 78:18). They did not believe in You or trust in Your deliverance even after all the wonders You had shown them (Ps. 78:22).
Please swell my soul with belief, and help me to trust emphatically in Your deliverance.
Most of those who know me know I have some issues and I want to be able to always put my trust in the Lord. This reading made me realize how much God loves me and just ask that we trust His Word.
School is back in swing and the kids are ( I can't even think of a word).
Our school nurse that has been there forever is being moved to another school and it has been a sad day for us. We really do have a family atmosphere at my school. I feel real blessed to work there. Lacey and I are about to get ready to go to bed, we're like to old women, really set in our ways.
See ya later when I have some pictures of my precious grandbaby! He is doing real good, please continue to pray for him.

Christmas 2010
Lacey and I got up and opened our presents. Aaron called and said Keegan was home so we could come over and have Santa Claus. He was so excited. Norman came down and I loaded up my car with all our presents and headed over to Aarons. After we opened our presents Bobbi and Aaron cooked a delicious meal for about 10 people. We had prime rib and ham and all kinds of vegetables and casseroles. Here a few pictures we took with my new camera Bobbi and Aaron gave me.
